A new book on child psychology was launched in May by Gerry O’Dwyer, Secretary-General of the Department of Health & Children, at a function in the University Industry Centre. Handbook of Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology is written by Dr Alan Carr, director of the Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology at UCD and it is the first book of its kind to be written in Ireland.
